The testo 905-T1 penetration thermometer has a wide measuring range from -50 to +350 °C and can even briefly (1 to 2 minutes) measure up to +500 °C. This is made possible by its permanently integrated thermocouple sensor type K. The penetration thermometer is also characterised by its short response time. In water (or other liquids) in particular, the thermocouple sensor reacts very quickly. This makes the penetration thermometer ideal for measurements in liquid substances in the laboratory, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
It is not only possible to immerse/prick the long, pointed sensor tube in liquids and soft or powdery media, but it can also be inserted into the air ventilation channel to measure the temperature there. The penetration thermometer also scores points for accuracy, which is higher than that of typical comparison models.
The testo 905-T1 penetration thermometer is easy to use and very user-friendly. The measurement values are clearly shown on the display. The fact that the display can be rotated also makes reading easier. This is particularly practical since the measurement values can be optimally read from many different angles.
