ECP 230 CX is a microprocessor controlled cooling system controller for regulating room temperature and evaporator fan. The actual temperature is shown on a three-digital LED display. The cooling system controller features four independent relay outputs, one each for the compressor, evaporator fan, alarm output and defrosting heater. The ECP 230CX cooling system controller additionally features an individually configurable isolated input contact. The state of each output is shown on the display. The cooling system controller is programmed using the buttons on the front panel. The ECP 230CX controller further features two sensor inputs (either NTC or PTC) for reading the room and evaporator temperatures. Sensor breaks and short circuits are shown on the display. Defrosting processes are cyclical. The version conforms with general guidelines and standards such as CE, EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3, EN 60335-1.
Cold storage area controller functions
Normal operation (via thermostat): Connect low pressure switch on terminals 17 and 18
Pump down operation: Attach low pressure (pump down) switch to terminals 18 and 19
Note: To ensure proper functioning, the pressure switch must always be connected. If you have just one safety pressure switch (Duo Pressostat), bridge terminals 18 and 20
External immediate stop: The external immediate stop switches the system off on the controller side (this is not an emergency off function). Cold storage area lighting and alarm remain active. This function is pre-wired in the factory
