ESK noise absorbers are approved for use with HFC and CFC refrigerants. Components in the GD series are approved for use with R744 (CO2). Noise absorbers reduce gas pulsation, but not structure-borne sound. The adjustable GDX series noise absorbers are particularly suitable for the following applications:
Screw compressor systems
Power-regulated compressors
Individual pipeline routing
Large evaporating temperature ranges (refrigerant mass flow / pressure ratio)
Installed systems with noise problems
Adjustable for optimal control over pulsation reduction can be achieved on the inlet and outlet sides. (Horizontal installation position, pressure connection at bottom)
