The ZBD series has been specially developed for normal cooling applications. The digital control system based on the innovative Copeland Compliant Scroll™ design uses a simple mechanism. Power regulation is achieved by the axially separating the scroll spirals for a short period of time. This simple mechanical solution allows for precise temperature regulation and efficient operation. The digital scroll technology is a simple regulating solution requiring no additional components so that it can be quickly and easily integrated into existing systems. Digital scroll technology enables fully variable regulation from 10 to 100% without limiting the range of applications. System pressure and temperature is precisely regulated. These compressors offer optimal power for condenser units, multi-compressor refrigeration systems, processing units and agricultural equipment. All models can be fitted with an external housing for sound insulation that reduces the noise level by a further 10 dBA.
