ZR series Copeland scroll compressors for R450A, R513A, R407C and R134a for comfort, process and precision cooling applications. The scroll compressors used in air conditioning and heating technology for cold water units, roof units and precision cooling are currently the most widely used technology. Due to their technical advantages, they are increasingly replacing piston and screw compressors. Various compressor combinations (tandem, trio) have been certified by Copeland™ that make the use of Copeland scroll compressors possible in systems with a higher cooling power (e.g. for air-cooled cold water units up to 500 kW). Optimum comfort, low operating costs and better annual energy efficiency figures (ESEER) are the result. The product series ranges from the ZR18 (1.5 hp) to the ZR380 (30 hp) for R407C and R134a as well as from the ZR24KRE (2 hp) to the ZR92KRE (7.5 hp) for R450A and R513A.
