The range of products described here gives an overview of the DWM Copeland semi-hermetic product lines suitable for all primary air conditioning and refrigeration applications at 50 Hz. This state of the art compressor technology, combined with the latest technical development, is available in two different product lines.
Standard compressors
The K series ranges from 0.5 to 2 hp, the L series from 2 to 4 hp with a displacement of 4 to 22.5 m³/h.
The air and water cooled standard K and L compressors up to 5 hp are affordably priced and equipped with tongue valves.
Two stage compressors
Two stage 5 to 25 hp compressors are available for very low temperature applications.
Models supplied with ester oil are approved for use with R404A, R507A, R407C, R134a, R448A, R449A, R450A and R513A.
Maximum permitted operating overpressures and idle pressures
Pressures resulting from the ambient temperature require particular attention (particularly when the compressor is idle). The specified threshold values for the compressor and other system components must not be exceeded.
The actual maximum permitted operating overpressures for each model can be found in the corresponding data sheets or on the type label. Regardless of the above, compressors must only be used for the approved applications.
