ETL - Self-regulating heating band for pipe frost protection. Self-regulating heating tapes of the ETL series protect supply lines both indoors and outdoors against freezing. The self-regulating technology automatically adapts the heating power to the ambient temperature at each point of the heating band. Overheating is also ruled out even when the heating cables are crossed over. In contrast to heating cables with constant heating power, Raychem ETL series heating bands can be configured and cut to length on site. An end closure is all that is required for assembly. A variety of connection fittings and electrical end closures are available for the heating band series. The components that are designed for optimum performance and safety are tested and approved by the manufacturer. A 230 V AC operating voltage and the use of power circuit breakers with C-characteristics are required for the respective heating circuit length.
