Výparník CTE84L8ED, ECO

The CTE series is used in cold storage areas used for storing fresh and frozen products. Thanks to the compact size of the devices, you are able to make the best possible use of the space available in the room where the system is to be installed.

The high-performance heat exchangers found in all models in this series are made using special profile aluminium fins and are produced for use with copper pipes suitable for modern refrigerants.

Different variants depending on cell temperature:

• CTE H3 for high temperatures (= +2 °C) with fin spacing of 3.5 mm;
• DFE H4 for high temperatures (= +2 °C) with fin spacing of 4.0 mm;
• CTE M6 for medium temperatures (= -15 °C) with fin spacing of 6.0 mm, ED electrical defrosting recommended;
• CTE L8 for low temperatures (= -35 °C with fin spacing of 8.5 mm, fitted with electrical defrosting.

The following four standard motor fans are used:

• Diameter 250 mm, alternating current 230 V/1/50-60 Hz with shielded terminals and protective grille made from polyamide glass fibres;
• Diameter 315 mm, alternating current 230 V/1/50-60 Hz with external rotor and integrated operating capacitor and protective grille made from steel with an epoxy paint coating.
• Diameter 350 mm, alternating current 230 V/1/50-60 Hz with external rotor and integrated operating capacitor and protective grille made from steel with an epoxy paint coating.
• Diameter 500 mm, three phase AC 400 V/3/50-60 Hz, protective grille made from steel with an epoxy paint coating.

The standard motors used have the following properties:

• Protection class IP 44;
• Insulation class B (F for Ø 350 - 500);
• Inner temperature monitor;
• Operating temperature -35 °C to +40 °C.

Versions with standard ED defrosting are equipped with stainless steel heating elements and vulcanised end terminators and intended for use with a 400 V/3/50-60 Hz connection.
The electrical parts and the housing are connected to an earth terminal; motor and heating element connections are in separate junction boxes with an IP 54 protection rating.

Models with different heat exchangers, defrosting mechanisms and motor fans can be provided on request.
Use the “Scelte“ program from Modine to select models that function in conditions other than standard conditions stated in the catalogue.
