Housing
Housing and frame are made of sturdy galvanized steel sheets with an additional weather-resistant polyester stove enamel coating and internal sound insulation. Large removable cladding elements.

Heat exchanger
High-performance heat exchanger, as evaporator/condenser, made of copper tube with pressed-on aluminum fins. L-shaped with subcooler to increase the capacity.

Fan
Direct-driven axial fan made of plastic, speed-controlled via temperature-controlled condenser pressure control, statically and dynamically balanced with horizontal contact protection grille. Weather-protected drive motor, maintenance-free, equipped with thermal overload protection.

Compressor
Suction gas-cooled rotary piston compressor, speed-controlled via inverter, mounted on vibration dampers, running quietly, with high efficiency, motor protection against overcurrent and thermal overload, equipped with sound insulation. Protected on the suction side against liquid hammer by a generously sized liquid separator.

Refrigeration circuit
with filter, receiver, 4-way valve for cooling or heating and service/filling connections with lockable valves. Electronic expansion valves for each indoor unit in the outdoor unit. Flare connection with union nuts. The refrigeration circuit is pressure tested, leak tested, dried, evacuated and provided with the refrigeration machine oil charge (HAB ÖL). 2-phase low-pressure refrigeration circuit guarantees minimum refrigerant charge, pre-filled with safety refrigerant.

Control system
completely wired with load and control elements according to the current regulations and provided with a terminal strip for control or mains supply. A control board switches and monitors all functions. Inverter for speed control of the compressor.  Condensing pressure control in cooling mode down to -10°C outdoor temperature (at temperatures below -10°C the compressor switches off) Two LED's indicate all occurring error messages of the connected indoor units as well as of the outdoor unit. The last error is stored and can be displayed in the error history.

Replace function
The inverter outdoor units have a Replace function which makes it possible to reuse the old piping when replacing old indoor and outdoor units with Mitsubishi Electric inverter units.
