Emerson Climate Technologies offers its ZB compressors with capacities ranging from 5.9 to 87.5 m³/h. These include digital compressor models with technology for fully variable power regulation. Copeland Scroll compressors have only one third the number of moving parts as piston compressors and feature a Scroll Compliance mechanism that makes them particularly durable and makes them extremely reliable even under difficult conditions (e.g. liquid hammering).
They stand out for their low weight and compact size, which makes them ideal for use in condenser units, small refrigeration systems or special processing units.
The Summit series rated at 7 to 15 hp offers an annual efficiency that is up to 15% higher than that of conventional semi-hermetic piston compressors.
These compressors are extremely quiet and can be fitted with an external housing for sound insulation that reduces the noise level by a further 10 dBA. This makes them the best choice for refrigeration application in city centres and residential areas.
The ZB series also includes the ZB220 (30 hp), the largest Scroll refrigerant compressor on the market. These compressors are approved for refrigerants R407A/F/C, R448A/R449A, R404A/R507A, R513A and R134a.
