In order for sufficient oil to be delivered to the compressors form the reservoir, a pressure differential is required between the reservoir and the compressor crankcase. To do this, a type RV2... pressure differential valve is mounted to the oil reservoir and connected to the suction pressure in single level systems (pressure equalisation line DAL). In two level compressor and booster systems, the DAL must be connected to the intermediate pressure if the compressor crankcases are under intermediate pressure.
