The EP series is used in refrigerators, refrigerated display cabinets and small refrigeration cells.
The high-performance heat exchangers found in all models in this series are made using special profile aluminium fins and are produced for use with copper pipes suitable for modern refrigerants. Fin spacing is differentiated 3.5/7 mm.
The version with electrical defrosting is recommended for cell temperatures up to -5 °C. For lower temperatures (≥ -12 °C), it is recommended to install an additional heating element in the drip tray.
The standard motor fans have the following properties:
Diameter 230 mm, alternating current 230 V/1/50-60 Hz and polyamide fibre glass protective grille;
Protection class IP 42; Insulation class B;
Inner temperature monitor;
Operating temperature -35 °C to +40 °C.
Optional air coolers using EC motor fans are available (on request)
Versions with standard ED defrosting are equipped with stainless steel heating elements and vulcanised end terminators and intended for use with a 230 V/1/50-60 Hz connection.
The EP/B models have the motor fans and electrical heating elements wired into IP 54 junction boxes.
Models with heat exchangers, defrosting systems and motor fans that differ from the standard version can be provided on request.
