The model AK-SM 350 is a data recording and monitoring unit for cooling systems in smaller supermarkets.
It records temperatures in various refrigeration units and cabinets and stores these for use as evidence that official regulations are being observed.
Threshold values can also be entered. If these are exceeded, then an alarm is triggered. The alarm message appears on the display and can be sent to an external recipient (person with a mobile phone or a service provider). The unit is attached at a central location in the shop. The clear user-interface means that it is easy to see the various temperature measurements. With just a few key presses, various temperature change graphs can be shown and the cause of an alarm can be viewed on the display.
All shop employees will be able to operate the unit and authorised persons can enter a password to make changes to the settings.
Configurations and settings can be input via the input field on the front panel of the device. Where many values need to be entered for many different settings, use of the AK-ST software is recommended. This program is installed on a computer. If several AK-SM 350 units are to be programmed with the same settings, the data backup and restore functions in the AK-ST program will prove useful.
