The CTR 20 is an electrically operated 3-way valve, specially developed for CO2 systems with heat recovery. By using a CTR valve, it is possible to supply heat recovery as well as the gas cooler (or condenser) according to the required output, even under strongly changing conditions. This is made possible by the proportional stepper motor technology used. The typical application for CTR valves is a system in the food retail trade. According to the state of the art, this CTR 3-way valve is very often equipped with transcritical CO2 systems (incl. heat recovery). As a result, these systems are very energy efficient in most cases.
