With its new GEA Bock HGX44e and HGX56e series, GEA Refrigeration Technologies is introducing new, more efficient semi-hermetic compressors to the market to replace the HGX4 and HGX5 series as well as partially replace the HGX6 series.
Both of these new series benefit from a modern valve plate systems, the latest generation of electromotors and new improved gas flow to increase effectiveness and reduce energy requirements.
Compared to its predecessors, the HGX44e series is now available in four different sizes instead of three. The largest version, the HGX44e/770-4 compressor, has a capacity of 67 m³/h - a 20% improvement over the largest HGX4 model.
The new 6-cylinder compressor of the HXG56e series offers improved effectiveness and quieter operation compared to earlier models. Three versions in this series cover the 73.8 m³/h to 100.4 m³/h capacity range (at 50 Hz). HGX (Hermetic Gas-cooled)
