OCTAGON® compressor for subcritical CO2 application
The ASERCOM certified BITZER SL series compressors are the result of more than 15 years of experience and continuous development of subcritical CO2 applications. The 18 compressors with a cooling power of 1.8 to 82 kW¹ offer maximum energy efficiency with maximum reliability and are also perfectly suited for operation with frequency converters for regulating and increasing power. In combination with the CO2 compressor for transcritical operation, the SL series compressors can be used to create extremely efficient combined normal and deep freezing systems with a wide performance spectrum. This is especially the case for holistic system concepts using heat recovery technology. Universal application with extremely good eco-efficiency is additionally offered by a hybrid solution in the form of a cascade with direct CO2 evaporation in the freezing stage.
