Highly flexible, closed-cell, extruded insulation material with low thermal conductivity, minimises energy loss in heating and plumbing systems.
Material type: Synthetic rubber elastomer foam. Factory-made, flexible elastomer foam (FEF) according to EN 14304.

Special note on the material: Self-adhesive coating: pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on a modified acrylate base with a grid structure, coated with polyethylene film. The protective backing/film on self-adhesive closures may contain traces of silicone.
Applications: Insulation and protection for pipes (heating, hot and cold water lines, water from roof guttering, rain water lines and drainage pipes) and other heating and plumbing systems to optimise heat loss prevention and energy saving.
Special features: SH/Armaflex is a closed-cell insulation material for heating and plumbing systems. Its water vapour diffusion resistance value is sufficient to meet the condensation control requirements of these applications, especially for cold water pipes.

MICROBAN® Protection
When microbes come into contact with the insulation surface, the MICROBAN® protection penetrates the cell walls of the microorganism, which is no longer able to function and can no longer grow or multiply. Since this protection is established directly in the manufacturing process, no washing out or wear is possible. This means that products with MICROBAN® technology now have an additional resistance to mould and mildew and thus contribute to the positive indoor ambient air quality. Insulation material equipped with MICROBAN® is therefore the optimal long-term solution for ventilation and air conditioning systems in public buildings such as schools, hospitals, old people's homes, office buildings and airports.
